The host was really nice, and breakfast in the morning was tasty. The room was okay, but getting to it meant going through an old, messy garage and climbing a steep staircase. There was another staircase inside to reach two of the room's three beds. That could be difficult for older guests or anyone injured.

The room was very quiet, with a bathtub in the bathroom and a small terrace adjoining it. From there, there was a great view. Breakfast was generous, and meals were served on ceramics made by the village artisan. The only small downside was that the room got a bit chilly in the evening.

I had a comfortable room with a terrace facing the pool, but the owner's kindness stood out most. I arrived early, around 9:30 in the morning, and he was still pleasant and helpful. He kept my luggage, suggested places to eat in town since he only serves breakfast, and let me put my bike in his garage. Thanks so much for making me feel comfortable.

This family-run place was in a great location, and I had a really pleasant stay. The hosts were welcoming, the room was clean and well cared for, and both the service and activity advice were excellent. Breakfast was good too.

Cucugnan is a beautiful village on a hillside among vineyards, with Quéribus and Peyrepertuse looking over it. There’s hardly any car traffic, and the center is reserved for locals, so it feels almost pedestrian. We found charming shops, welcoming locals and shopkeepers, a baker using heritage wheat varieties for delicious bread and other products, and a windmill at the top that visitors can enter by asking for the key. The food was excellent, both at the inn and at the lovely winemakers' bar. The region is full of wonders, and staying with Joël and Lydie is a great way to enjoy it. We highly recommend them. We had nothing to fault during our stay. After a few hours on the road, Joël and Lydie gave us such a warm, friendly welcome. Our charming room opened straight onto the terrace and had a breathtaking view. We’re not really pool people, but for anyone who enjoys a swim, the pool and its surroundings look perfect when the season allows. Joël and Lydie made us feel at home in their beautiful house, and they know the region well enough to point you toward its treasures. Breakfast was excellent and truly sumptuous.
