We stayed for 15 days at Yves’s place in the Tournesol gîte, and it matched the description and what we expected. There were three of us, with plenty of comfortable space, and the interior stayed cool during the heatwave. The chairs in the apartment above were a little noisy, but Yves found a fix. The private garden is a real bonus alongside the shared pool, jacuzzi, children’s play area, ping-pong table, foosball table, pétanque court, and other spaces. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well cared for, and there were inflatable mattresses and floats to use. Yves is a lovely, welcoming host who pays close attention to guests’ comfort. He arranged things like pétanque tournaments and poolside aperitifs with watermelon, depending on the time of day. Thanks for all the great moments. We’ll definitely be back on our next holiday. We’ve got a pétanque score to settle, after all 😉. Maybe Baptiste will lose this time and have to buy the winners a beer 🍺.

Our children had a great time in the beautiful heated pool, jacuzzi, and play areas. We also loved the views, barbecues, and pétanque at sunset. The host does everything he can to make the holiday enjoyable, and Gaury is a great starting point for all sorts of fun excursions.

There’s something for both children and parents here, making it a great spot for family activities and exploring the French Central Pyrenees. The estate is beautiful, with a lovely pool and gorgeous views. The host makes you feel at home and brings guests together, whether with a fun aperitif or a meetup at the local market, where there are charming food stalls.

We had the 9-person cottage at Domaine de Gaury, or really, “at Monsieur Yves’s” 😎, and felt at home, like we were staying with a friend. It’s a little secluded, which makes it great for a quiet, unplugged holiday. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed, with pétanque, foosball, ping pong, and a big playground for children. Yves was friendly, attentive, and looked after us so well. The stay felt very convivial, with thoughtful poolside surprises every day. His dog, Paulette, is adorable. We were there during a heatwave, but the downstairs stayed cool. Gilles even went out of his way to buy fans for the upstairs bedrooms. The other cottages have air conditioning. Highly recommend! Yves will be happy to welcome you and help make your stay the best it can be 🤩 Looking forward to coming back!
