We stayed here twice, first in December 2017 and again in November/December 2018, and I’d gladly come back, maybe in 2020! The ocean view was lovely, especially at sunset, and the birdsong gave the place a peaceful, natural feel. We had a car and explored different beaches, then returned to a relaxing spot. The location worked really well for that. Frank was a fantastic host. His English was limited, but he used a translator on his phone and was warm and helpful. He greeted us outside and made sure we parked okay, always with a smile. At the restaurant, Lea looked after guests and Manon was the chef. The service was great, and both breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. Bernard was there on both visits. I think he’s the owner, and he was professional and friendly. The staff had a strong service mindset, whether that came from him or was just their own nature.

The weak Wi-Fi was the one real drawback. It worked mostly near the restaurant and usually not in the rooms, but we still had a great stay. The staff were lovely, from the housemaids and breakfast team to Franck, the hotel director, who was the kindest and most helpful owner I’ve met. Their English was limited, though we managed fine with Google Translate. Our room was clean and modern, with a nice balcony and beautiful views. Kawa was a very good restaurant, with food and service that felt more special than at an average local place. Breakfast was much better than expected too. Staff made omelettes, bacon, and sausages to order, and there was also fruit, yogurts, bread, and sweet and savory pastries. It’s a real treasure.
