The hosts made us feel right at home, with a warmth and sincerity that stood out throughout our stay. They went well beyond what we needed. Our room at Maison La Viste was spacious, spotless and wonderfully peaceful, and the pool was a great place to unwind after exploring the region. Breakfast each morning had fresh pastries, bread, cheeses, cold meats and seasonal fruit, plus home-cooked eggs and bacon, coffee and juice. There are also two very sweet, friendly cats living onsite. Everything was outstanding, and we’d return in a heartbeat if we’re in the region again. Maison La Viste is a hidden gem for a peaceful, high quality stay with lovely surroundings and such thoughtful hospitality.

The hosts were so kind, and breakfast was delicious. We had a really lovely stay, with a beautiful setting and a comfortable room and bed.

Aldo and Veerle gave us such a warm welcome. The charming house has two beautiful rooms, with high-end bedding and everything impeccably clean. There’s a park and swimming pool, and you can go for walks all around in the peaceful green countryside. Breakfast was generous and very appetizing! 😄👌🥐🥖☕️🥃

We had an unforgettable stay at Maison La Viste, with comfortable rooms and a refreshing swim in the heated outdoor pool. Aldo and Veerle welcomed us warmly and took excellent care of our needs. It’s a lovely spot for nature and peace, with starry skies where you can see the Milky Way without light pollution. There are plenty of nearby places to visit, including Biron Castle, Bonaguil Castle, Fumel Castle, the Gavaudun Tower, the Eyzies and Lascaux caves. For Périgord cuisine at good value, we enjoyed "Le Moderne" in Villeréal. Really, don’t hesitate, come and relax here!

Set in a lovely, secluded rural spot with a swimming pool, this place has a really pleasant room, tastefully decorated, with its own bathroom and toilet. The bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious too. I highly recommend staying here.
