Breakfast is great value, so be sure to choose it. Just outside Cherbourg, the B&B sits in a lovely rural spot that works well for an overnight ferry wait or as a base for a short trip around Northern Normandy.

Right outside, Charolais cows graze across a huge meadow dotted with shady trees. It’s a beautiful, quiet countryside setting near the Morvan.

We had a particularly pleasant stay, and the owners made us feel very welcome. The location is peaceful, and breakfast came with plenty of variety. I highly recommend it.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the local breakfast is a nice bonus. Our hosts were lovely, helpful, and attentive. It’s a special place with plenty of charm. I’ll be back!

Breakfast includes local products, with a really good cheese platter, which is a definite plus. The garden is magnificent and carefully maintained, especially the giant hydrangeas. This unusual B&B has decor that takes you back in time, with objects from our grandparents beautifully displayed. We also appreciated the home cinema in the room, where we could watch a DVD from the available selection. The owners are very welcoming and friendly.
