The room was small but clean, with a nice hot shower, and it was great value for money. Sadly, the air conditioning didn’t work. Service was the friendliest, and the owner gave us a map and useful tips. The location is absolutely perfect, just around the corner from a huge square with restaurants and bars open late. Street parking cost 4 euros for 24 hours.

For such a low-priced hotel, the room was way better than I expected. It looked brand new or recently renovated and felt very cozy. The owner/manager was nice and accommodating, and spoke clear English, which helped. My girlfriend and I chose it as an inexpensive stop on our drive from Southern France to the Netherlands. Old town and central Dijon are a 5-10 minute walk away. I’ll keep it in mind next time we pass through.

Room 206 was a good size, with air conditioning and comfy beds, and dogs are welcome. Street parking was easy with the PaybyPhone app, which I already had from using it in England. From 4.30pm until 11am the next day, parking cost less than £4.

Jean-Marie is clearly happy to help, offering tips and good addresses, showing you the way and giving advice. We found the hotel very welcoming and cosy, well located and very clean, with an extremely friendly, helpful host. It’s one of the cheapest options near the station and well worth the money.

The young man at the desk was friendly and very nice, and the hotel is well located. Our room was a good size, with comfortable beds, but it felt rather tatty. The shower curtain was old and mouldy, the plug sockets were shoddy and the toilet door was damaged.
