Residhome Dijon Cité des vignes

We chose this hotel because of the attractive photos, positive reviews, and convenient location. That first night, though, we found a live cockroach in the bed. We were travelling with our dog, and my wife was late in her pregnancy, so we felt the situation was unacceptable and unsafe. We had to leave urgently in the middle of the night and find somewhere else to stay. It caused a lot of stress and physical exhaustion. The hotel never gave us a clear response. A lot of time has passed, and we still received no apology, compensation, or acceptance of responsibility, only indifference. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. We felt they showed no concern for cleanliness or respect for guests, and we couldn't trust it with our health or comfort.

It was easy to get into the city on foot, and the bicycle network was accessible too. The on-site parking was good, and the air conditioning worked excellently. Our room had plenty of space and was very well equipped, including a compact kitchen that came in handy. The staff were warm and friendly.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and everything ran smoothly. Dijon’s old town is about a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel has secured parking. The rooms were okay, though the bathroom smelled a little and felt quite humid. Breakfast was chaotic on the first morning and much better the second, so perhaps we were just unlucky.

We loved staying here. The underground parking was spacious, and the location and amenities were great. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, croissants, and yoghurts, and the place had everything we needed, plus a little more.
