I’ll always want to come back here. Antonietta made the stay unforgettable, and the place is lovely for a romantic break, a family trip, or just clearing your head in the mountain air. Le Ciel d’Ardeche is a beautiful old farmhouse in the Ardèche mountains, with tasty home-cooked French food and friendly guests and animals. Thanks for the precious memories.

After 90 days traveling around Europe, this was the best place I’d visited. It’s such a romantic B&B, and I was even given dinner. The owners speak fluent French and English. There are a couple dozen horses, lovely scenery for hiking, and interesting villages to explore. The rooms and shared spaces have a folksy, rustic feel, with heat available on demand in the rooms and bathrooms.

The meal was delicious, and the views were beautiful. We stopped at Ciel d'Ardèche for a comfortable night during our long walk on the GR420, and loved our stay. Antonietta and André were wonderful hosts. They had plenty to handle with the property, family, and other guests, but still went out of their way to help us with anything we needed.

The food was fantastic both evenings, and breakfast was generous and good too. Our host did everything she could to make us feel welcome. My wife and I stayed at Ciel d'Ardèche in July 2020, during a quiet stretch of the Covid pandemic. It’s a lovely getaway for a few days, in a gorgeous old farmhouse full of character, surrounded by flower-filled fields. We were welcomed warmly, and our room was cozy and comfortable. We’d happily recommend it.
