Appart'hôtel Le Connetable

We paid around 200€/night for a spacious room, but it wasn't worth the price. The mattress sagged so badly in the middle that it strained my back. I could barely sleep and ended up on the more even edge of the bed toward morning, then traffic noise woke me. My back hurt badly for two days afterward. The street noise came through the closed windows, and the toilet brush was dirty and stuck in its holder, so using it meant touching the holder. Much of breakfast was pre-packaged, the cheese was packaged, and the coffee tasted so bad we barely drank it. The breakfast was mediocre at best. We didn't see the Spa area. We understood it wasn't included, since staff didn't mention access and the door was locked. I'd have been happy to discuss any of this with staff, but nobody asked how our night or stay was. Edit: Management apparently thinks I'm dishonest. My other recommendations show I rarely leave negative ratings. This was my experience. The place might have been nice a few decades ago, but it sadly isn't anymore.

The spa was the highlight of our stay. The sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, and sensory shower were all lovely, and having a drink delivered from the hotel bar made it even more relaxing. They provide a comfortable bathrobe and sandals to use during your stay. Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms clean, and the bed very comfortable. Street parking was convenient and free.

The rooms were excellent quality and very clean. The host and his family were helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is well placed for Dinan center, which you can reach on foot or with a short drive to park.

The bedroom is really spacious and the beds are comfortable. The sauna was good, but the bathroom window and shower weren't ideal, water went everywhere.
