Appart'etape

The room was roomy and clean, and for the price it was okay. We only needed one night, which was enough. There were a few small problems, though: both shower heads leaked and were broken, the toilet seat sat crooked, and a hole in the floor had a loose bit of wood covering it.

That breakfast was very generous, though I did miss having salted butter! We stayed just one night and got such a warm welcome from the charming hostess. The room itself was simple but pleasant and clean, with its own bathroom.

We were there over Christmas, and since there wouldn't be breakfast service on Christmas Day, they brought it to us the day before. It came with jam, butter, and the rest, but the toast was just sliced bread, which wasn't great for December 25th. It wasn't a big deal, though, since we could get croissants at the bakery right across the street. The apartment was clean and large enough for our family of four, and the welcome was very warm. Good value for money.

The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated, and very well equipped. The hostess was fantastic and worked around our arrival and situation to find us the best accommodation possible.
