A staff member named Janice embarrassed me publicly at the hotel restaurant during my stay on June 2nd, 2025. She raised her voice to tell me the restaurant was closed, when she could have said so respectfully. Another woman there at the same time wasn’t treated that way. I’m Brazilian, and I felt deeply disrespected. It was the most embarrassing experience I’ve had in a hotel. I hope management takes this behavior seriously.

We’ve eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and always enjoyed the meal. The dishes are good, made with fresh ingredients, and seem to change with the seasons. The young waiters gave very good service and helped us choose and get what we needed. In summer, there’s a lovely terrace where you can eat outside and feel surrounded by nature.

The rooms are nice, the staff are friendly, and the meals are really good. Breakfast usually isn’t part of the reservation, but it costs 9.50 euros.

The menu works for different budgets, and the food is superb at every price. We’ve been coming to Divonne for ten years, usually eating here once or twice each year. The service is great, and we always enjoy the experience. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Divonne.

The restaurant is fantastic, and the small hotel is excellent too. I got the impression it’s run by a bunch of nerdy, likeable foodies. You’ll sleep and eat well here, and the price is very reasonable.
