Breakfast was very limited on our first day, and on Sunday there were no eggs because there were so many guests and, apparently, too little room on the buffet table. Dinner also fell short of what we'd expected, and the champagne served wasn't chilled. We were a group, and several rooms weren't properly clean: hair in showers and corners, dust, and cobwebs on walls. The sheets and towels were clean, but the rest of the rooms weren't up to standard. We know this is a more affordable hotel, but basic hygiene should still be consistent. The staff seemed inexperienced. The family running the hotel were welcoming and very friendly, but no compensation was offered for the problems we had. I think future guests deserve an honest account, so I can't recommend staying here.

The locked courtyard made me feel safe, and the breakfast buffet was great. When I used the wrong cup for my coffee, the staff member was patient with me. I stayed for two days with a group. The first day's staff member was really friendly and offered to help with my luggage. He even said thank you in Chinese, which impressed me a lot. The staff on the second day were lovely too.

It's a little away from the center, which we appreciated at night because it was quiet and comfortable. Several landmarks are just a couple of minutes away by car. I had a wonderful family stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very solid, and the hotel offered a great range of breakfast, lunch, and dinner at good prices.

We had a great four-night stay, with breakfast and dinner most evenings, and we'll definitely return. The place is tucked away behind the commercial site, but there's plenty of free parking. Our room was clean and tidy. The restaurant has a varied menu at reasonable prices, with well-cooked, nicely presented food and lovely desserts.

The food is a real bonus here: breakfast has a great selection, and dinner was exceptionally good. The buffet and the meat or fish choices on the board were all fabulous. It's also a great base for exploring the region. It feels more like a hotel for traveling workers, but it deserves more than two stars. The decor is dated, yet everything worked, the shower was good, and all the linen and towels were very clean.
