hotelF1 Dole - Renove

The rooms were very clean, and fine for a night’s rest. We paid €59 for two people with breakfast. The offer letter said €37 per night, but those are cheap rooms without a shower or toilet. You can book rooms with them, but toilets, showers, towels and breakfast all cost extra.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and most of the hotel seemed clean and well cared for. My shower was less pleasant: there was a puddle of murky water when I went in, so perhaps the drain needs attention. The bedroom also had an extremely strong detergent-like smell, enough to make the room smell like a garbage area. That really affected my comfort. Despite those problems, I came away with a positive impression of the staff and the overall cleanliness. I hope management can address them for future guests.

We arrived with our family for one night and paid 105 Euro. One room’s code didn’t work, and the other was very hot and basic. We were told the second room had no toilet. We politely returned to reception and explained that it wasn’t suitable, asking for a refund, but were refused. The receptionist said we would need to email his manager, yet wouldn’t give his name as a reference or let us speak with the manager. He said the manager would decide whether to refund us. It seemed clear there was no intention of returning the money. We left 105 euro out of pocket, and I strongly advise others not to make the same mistake.

A handy place to stay when you're travelling by car. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and easy to get back on the road. Pets are welcome too.
