Coqcooning

The walks and hikes starting right from the gîte were a highlight. We barely saw anyone, which was such a treat after coming from an overcrowded city. The hameau is peaceful, with a beautiful view over the hills, and the landscape felt magical. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and comfortable, and there’s a nice lounge where you can really settle in. Lucie and Sarah took such good care of us. We ate extremely well, the vegan meals were delicious and the portions generous. We also spent a day skiing at the Mont Dore resort, about 1h30 away, took the cable car up puy de Sancy, and visited the Croizat hot springs. We came home rested and happy. We’ll definitely be back, and recommend the gîte 100000000000%. A huge thank you for everything ❤️

I loved the cozy little corners around the gîte, and the mountain views from its idyllic setting are breathtaking. It was just the kind of place where you can truly switch off. I spent a wonderful week here. There are lots of walks nearby, with plenty of chances to spot animals, and a hot spring close by too. Lucie is so generous, and her vegan meals were absolutely delicious, made with fresh, organic, seasonal ingredients, sometimes from her own garden. She also gives massages, which was a lovely extra. The kitchen is fully equipped and very practical if you want to make your own meals, smoothies, or treats. I recommend it 100%, a real haven of peace.

The rooms are bright and spacious, and I slept really well. It’s a lovely spot to spend a few days, get some fresh air, and properly disconnect. Lucie makes you feel at home, and the food is excellent. There’s also the peaceful setting and the view to enjoy. She’s happy to suggest walks or activities in the area.

The delicious food Lucie prepared was ethically sourced, and she welcomed us so warmly. We also got to enjoy her wonderful massages, the perfect finishing touch, and she gave us great tips for finding the region’s hidden gems. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and every little detail feels considered. It’s a place made for peace of mind and relaxation. I had a wonderful stay at L’Agnel, and can only call it perfect. I highly recommend it!
