The owner was friendly, but the barge was in such poor shape and so dirty that we couldn't wait to leave. We booked with a Wonderbox gift voucher, then found a filthy fridge, a deplorable kitchen and floor, and a generally run-down place. Service was lacking too. We skipped breakfast because the fridge was so disgusting. We only had the croissants and pain au chocolat that had just been brought in by the owner. The sparkling wine that was supposed to be included was missing, so my partner and I took two beers from the fridge and a bottle of water instead. What a disappointment. I don't have photos, but I do have videos from when we arrived on the barge.

Sleeping in a barge cabin was such a treat, and the homemade meal was delicious. The owners gave us a lovely welcome. We had a wonderful time on board. Thanks for everything.

We got a friendly welcome, but the paella was incredibly bland. I couldn't eat it, and neither could the other customers. I've never had worse paella, frozen food would have been better. A really bad experience. Sorry.

It's a family-run place with a relaxed, informal feel, and we were welcomed so warmly. We weren't sure about taking the boat trip, but ended up with no regrets. And if you'd rather stay on land, that's fine too. They let us know about the electricity, which makes sense on a péniche. Everything was very clean, and you can feel how much care and sharing goes into this place. Thanks! I highly recommend places like this, they're rare.
