The toilet was filthy, with old s... under the rim, and that seemed to explain the bad smell in the room. It didn’t even have a seat. The room itself felt shabby and sad, though the beds were okay, and the low price didn’t make up for it. Finding the parking lot and reception was hard because the signs were poor. I arrived around 11:30 pm and found a receptionist who seemed very tired and spoke only French. When I asked her something politely in the little French I’ve thankfully learned, she rolled her eyes and groaned. Later, when I went to charge my car, she said I couldn’t leave, then sighed and said I could come back in once. Once! Other electric car owners will know that isn’t enough, so I gave up.

At 5 pm today, 19.05.25, Cavin was serving us at reception. The attitude felt bad and discriminatory. Very disappointing.

The breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’m traveling through Europe and book a place to stay when I get tired. They’ve developed the site into a natural area, with different sections you can walk around and look at.

There’s an enclosed parking area for hotel guests, though I missed it. EV chargers are right beside the hotel in the same service area, including a Tesla supercharger, which may be useful for some. I arrived late and got a good reception from Paul. The hotel and rooms are basic, but the location is good.
