Gîtes Les Vents Bleus

We spent a day driving through Cordes sur Ciel and the medieval villages in northern Tarn, and the scenery was some of the best we've experienced. The pool and our chambre d'hôte were immaculate, and breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. Florence and Olivier, thank you for two nights in your spectacular, luxuriously appointed property. It was a highlight of our trip through France, and it was lovely getting to know you. Good luck with your piloting endeavours, Olivier!

Dinner came with a nice carafe of wine, and breakfast, the Petit dejeuner, was varied, tasty, and wholesome. The food was excellent, and Olivier did a splendid job as sous chef. The hotel is well located in the village, with very clean, quite large, opulent rooms.

The room was comfortable and had good facilities. Arrival, dinner, and breakfast all felt a little clunky, though. Maybe it was just a mix of small things, I'm not sure why.

We stayed in the Lizard Room, in a beautifully restored and decorated building that made a striking impression as soon as we arrived. If you appreciate old stone, it's captivating. The welcome was exceptionally warm, and this is an address to remember in a sublime region. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.
