Birgele

We could walk into the center of Riquewihr in just a few minutes. The apartment was spacious and set in a beautiful spot, with a lovely garden and several places to sit or stretch out. The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and often brought us homemade baked treats.

With the forest right beside the apartment, we could head straight out onto lots of hiking trails, and Riquewihr was only a ten-minute walk away. Parking was available too. The landlady was lovely, and the place had what we needed for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, roomy bathroom, comfortable mattresses, and two cozy sofas. A wonderful holiday apartment, highly recommended.

Michèle and her partner made us feel very welcome. They were helpful and really kind. The cottage itself was quiet, green, pleasant, and well equipped, with a terrace just a short walk from Riquewihr's historic center. It's also a great base for visiting the listed villages along the Alsace Wine Route. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a very warm welcome from the owner, who went out of her way to make our stay nicer. She greeted us with local pastries, including a Kouglof. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, with a pretty garden in a relaxing setting at the edge of the forest. It was peaceful, yet only 500 m from Riquewihr. We highly recommend it as a base for a stay in Alsace.
