Chez Romane - appartement avec parking

The location is ideal, and a parking space comes with the rental. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated, and there were lots of supplies left by previous guests, like cleaning products, foil, salt, pepper, tea, chocolate, and coffee filters. The owner was available and attentive. But the cleanliness was a bad first impression, and it seemed neglected, almost nonexistent. The person handling check-in and maintenance hurried through the tour and talked too much. Once we were on our own, we found hair, including pet hair, in the beds, on the floors and bathroom fixtures, plus dust in every corner and a dirty kitchen table. We sent photos to the owner, who was understanding and willing to help. It seems the apartment is clean only when the previous tenants have cleaned it, which matches many comments on different websites. The bedding needs replacing urgently. The apartment is poorly maintained, with a broken chair and a leather armchair in bad condition. Even with these problems, it's still a good address in a desirable location.

Such a beautiful spot. I'd recommend it.
