There was plenty of space for the kids to explore, with peacocks wandering around and friendly dogs coming over to greet us. The cottage we stayed in had quirky decor, and the hosts made us feel welcome. It's a fantastic rural oasis for a family, whether for a couple of days or longer. Nearby Donzy is picturesque and has restaurants and a supermarket.

Even with temperatures above 40C, we could still enjoy the surroundings. It was so peaceful and quiet, and Fabian is about as laid-back as anyone could be. Our cabin had fresh cold running water, bedding, and a stove. Just be ready for the usual country bugs. Keep the lights off all the time, and take some antihistamines in case of bee stings if you have kids.

We had a wonderful time immersed in nature, and our host was very kind and available. It's a place to visit, and to come back to.

We had a lovely, peaceful two-night family stay in a natural setting. There were three accommodations and a shared area where we could eat.
