The area was nice, with the center and its lovely Christmas market not too far away. The mining museum is nearby too and well worth a visit. As for the room, the TV was quite large and the bed was OK. There was a handy table for meals, but it took up more of the already limited space, and the kitchen door kept hitting the chair left in its way. The freezer door was broken. The cutlery and pots were very dirty and looked worn, and one pan and one pot wouldn't even fit on the stove together. The kitchen was a real letdown. It wasn't very expensive, but for that price I still expected better.

Everything we needed was in the room, and it was very clean. There was plenty nearby, including a supermarket, cinema and bus stop. The welcome took a while, but it was warm and pleasant, and the cleaning lady was so kind. We had a perfect stay!

I stayed here for a year, and the apartment worked really well for studying. It was functional, with Lidl and Leclerc only a few meters away, plus a park and cinema nearby. Street parking was available, and the boulevard stayed quiet in the evenings. The management and maintenance team were always cheerful and easy to reach. The laundry room could be cleaner, though, and an extra washing machine or two and some more dryers would help. 😉

The bathroom was in a deplorable state, with mold that seemed to be there because of the lack of ventilation. There was no ventilation, either. We had no towels, sheets, soap or shampoo. The bed linen was made of that hospital-style protective cover material. There was no kettle or oven. For the same price, I'd go through other sites and book with individuals.
