The location and parking both worked well, and the spa was great. The rooms are spacious, but there’s nowhere to put much away: no drawers and no shelf in the cupboard where the TV sits. The spa changing area is limited too, with only two cubicles and no lockers for clothes. It’s a well-run place.

There’s breakfast, and the location is just right for an overnight stop before heading to the Oo.

The restaurant isn’t as good as it used to be. There’s new management, and things haven’t quite got back to the same slick standard yet.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years. It’s one of my longtime favourites, and the food is consistently great.

They’re great with kids, and every time we come the food and service are outstanding.
