Best Western Blanche De Castille Dourdan

We enjoyed it a lot. The food and wine are delicious, and you're in safe hands if you let the Maitre'D guide you.

When our car broke down late on a Saturday, this hotel really came to our rescue. We found a family room for the weekend while waiting for repairs on Monday. It was actually two rooms, like a mini apartment. The staff were extremely helpful while we were stressed, even speaking to our recovery agents by phone because of the language barrier. I can't recommend the hotel enough. It literally saved us.

We had booked a room by phone, confirmed our arrival and let the hotel know we'd be late, but when we got there at midnight, our room had been given to someone else. We also learned that three other families had the same problem. The receptionist didn't apologize or help us find somewhere else to stay. As a business owner, I take this kind of breach of trust and contract very seriously. This was a frustrating, disappointing experience that badly affected our vacation. I advise against booking here when there's no guarantee a reservation will be honored. Hotel management needs to improve its practices and keep its commitments to guests.

The location really is nice, but breakfast was very poor, with hardly any choice. We paid 180 euro for one night in an old, cold room with no working heating and wind coming through the windows. It was noisy all night, with neighbors' doors opening and closing, toilets flushing, and people outside.
