We picked this hotel as a midway stop on our trip and weren’t expecting much from the name or main picture. It turned out to be surprisingly excellent, and the whole visit cost less than we expected. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. There’s a bubbly outdoor pool by the hotel, plus a proper pool at the camping site a couple of hundred yards away. Kids would also enjoy the crazy golf, bowling and other activities outside. The restaurant was remarkably good, with food that was well cooked, presented and served. Some of the best we’ve had on this trip.

We chose this restaurant because we needed wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets, and it was halfway between us and our friends for lunch. Parking was easy, and the bright, airy dining room has fantastic views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the plat de jour was delicious and nicely presented. We had the main and dessert for 13.50€, while the three-course option was 15.50€. Really good prices for such tasty food. We’d definitely recommend it and will come back.

This hotel is very close to the Way of St James, though I don’t think pilgrims realise it. The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, and the food was good.

A good place to stop while travelling. The food was interesting and tasty. I didn’t try the other facilities.
