The sea is about 10 km away, and the house is right in the small town center, opposite a church. We stayed in the suite with five people, with everything we needed within walking distance. It’s a very original place, run by a French traveler who knows how to make you feel at home. We had a great time.

Alex is warm and welcoming, and clearly enjoys looking after guests and making them happy. Our room was spotless and decorated with taste, and we had a lovely stay. You feel right at home here. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

This was already our second stay at Alex Guest House in Dozulé, and we’ll definitely come back again. The homemade jams at breakfast were a lovely extra, and Alex was attentive and full of helpful local advice. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable, with a peaceful setting that still makes it easy to visit Cabourg, Deauville and the coast. We felt at home from the warm welcome onward, and had an excellent stay.

Breakfast had a great spread of sweet and savory choices, and parking is right next door. The room was spacious, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The house is spotless and clearly well cared for, with a warm welcome too. We appreciated the thoughtful extras, from a fan during the heatwave and tissues to the spa, garden relaxation spot, regional brochures, and books and games in the living room. A lovely place, highly recommended.
