I was passing through for work and this was just the quiet spot I needed to switch off and rest. It’s surrounded by forest, peaceful and tucked away, yet still close to town. The family running the inn, restaurant, and farm made me feel very welcome. The food was great, with most of it grown on the property. I’d love to return with my family and stay longer. Highly recommend.

The host was attentive and helpful, and our room was roomy and clean. We’re a family of four, and the food and wine were fantastic. My daughter got attached to one of the kittens wandering near the barn. It felt authentic and was amazing value. Highly recommended.

We stumbled on this lovely old inn while searching for somewhere to sleep on the drive from Sweden to Switzerland. The landlord waited patiently even though we arrived late, and gave the four of us a cosy family room with a modern bathroom. Breakfast, made with the inn’s own produce, was lovely before we set off again. I’d like to return for dinner and a proper treat. It would also make a great biking destination.

Book ahead. This farm auberge is a little off the beaten path, though not too far away. It’s quiet enough that all you hear are birds and bees, and the food is good with moderate prices.

I’ve stayed here and plan to come back. It’s a rustic, peaceful and quiet place in the French woods. The area is inspiring, and while it feels calm, cities aren’t far away. Dogs are welcome too.
