The spa was a highlight: the sauna, steam room, and pool were all clean and pleasant, and the room had a nice robe and disposable slippers for the visit. Just remember to bring a towel from your room, since there weren't any in the spa. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was a nice standard European continental spread. We only stayed one night while passing through. We hadn't picked the hotel ourselves; it came with a package. As a couple we were fine, but I wouldn't choose it for children. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and fresh linens and towels, though the layout felt cramped and awkward. The shower and toilet were in separate little rooms off a hallway inside the bedroom, which made getting around difficult. There was plenty of hot water, but some mould in the shower could have been scrubbed away easily. The hotel's little black instruction book smelled so strongly of mould and mildew that I had to shut it in a dresser drawer. The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi in room 118. We had only one bar and couldn't even send an email. There isn't an English-language TV channel, so a phone or tablet would be useful for watching something before bed, but the connection was basically unusable. For a hotel of this calibre, that wasn't acceptable. It was a good hotel, just more formal than we like. We prefer somewhere with more character, so we'd probably stay elsewhere next time.
