Domaine Des Pousses

We walked into town for curry at Namaste, and it was a good stop along the Vio scenic cycle route. The room was clean and well equipped, with an excellent bathroom, and there was great bike storage. The host was very friendly and spoke good English. You can get drinks from her organic collection, as well as wine and beer. She also offers meals in jars that you can heat up and pay for in her kitchen.

It's so quiet here, with birdsong as the only soundtrack, and the beds are clearly designed with comfort in mind. Each room has its own feel and main color. Breakfast was delicious and lovely to share, and the whole place felt healthy and clean. The home stay and village were exceptional, with thoughtful care for us as guests. Forests and attractions are all around, between the Paris area and Chartres. We'd love to return soon, and May sounds lovely with the flowers, old fruit trees, and spring grass coming back to life.

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and breakfast was excellent. We stopped here on our way back to the Channel, and it worked out really well. The room was small, but had its own bathroom, tasteful decor, and was very comfortable. Great value, and we'd highly recommend it.
