We had a lovely time in Dunkirk. The apartment is right on the boulevard and has a nice sea view. After calling, we got the key box number and were able to let ourselves in. Everything inside was neat, clean, and well cared for. There’s a kitchen with all the equipment needed to cook, make coffee or tea, or have breakfast, as we did. The drawback is the stairs: it’s four floors up with no elevator, so it isn’t suitable for disabled people.

The apartment was hard to keep comfortable temperature-wise, even though the heating system had recently been upgraded. The fourth-floor view is stunning and worth the climb, since there’s no elevator. It’s nicely decorated and has a TV, internet, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The kitchen supplies are basic, though, and weren’t clean when we arrived.
