The vintage look of the rooms made them feel so lovely, and we could imagine living there forever. The woman who cleaned for us was a sweetheart, kept everything spotless, and was always checking whether we needed help. The hotel is in a quiet spot, close enough to walk to hundreds of places without staying in a crowded area. We felt safe too, with cameras on every floor and staff there around the clock. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm and attentive. They clearly take pride in their work and made us feel like special guests. We had a wonderful time in Paris thanks to The Hôtel L'Eaubonne, and we’ll definitely come back on our next trip. I’d highly recommend it for a vacation.

The manager eventually came down after two rings and three full minutes. I arrived on foot without a reservation, and the front door had been locked, not just closed behind a code door. With the streets full and the Olympics on, I wondered why there were no guests. He looked me over and asked for 75 euros for one night. I showed him booking.com had availability for 53 pounds, around 60 euros. He got confrontational and aggressive, saying the small print also required a 110 euros damage deposit. I thought that was ridiculous and started to leave. Check the small print, whether booking in person or online, and find out about any damage deposit before handing over money. Recent reviews suggest a change of management, but after meeting the manager, I can’t say I have confidence in that.

The room I got was quite spacious, with a magnificent view. The welcome met my expectations, and I had no complaints about the hygiene. I’ll definitely come back for a vacation 🏼

The shower was barely a trickle, and the rooms felt old fashioned, with beds worse than the floor. The noise went on all night, with idiots screaming, drinking, and revving cars until 4am. The only sleep we got was from 4:15 till 7am. For the price, this place shouldn’t be open. I won’t ever return, and now I’ve got a very long day ahead getting to the UK. Thanks..
