Goélia Les Maisons du Golf d'Armagnac

The nearest shops are several kilometers away by car, and it's a shame there's no service to deliver bread and pastries. We stayed in a house with its own pool, which was a real treat in summer. A great residence if total peace and quiet is what you're after.

We've stayed at the Geolia residence for three years now, in both houses and apartments. It lives up to the website description. The place is a little dated, but very good for the price, and the staff are always pleasant and attentive. There still isn't enough crockery for the number of guests, though, so we end up running the dishwasher half full.

The villas are lovely, and each has a private pool. It's a shame there's nothing to do in the camp itself, and the accommodation is a long way from any activities. That makes it very, very quiet.

The villas for six are spacious, especially when there are just two of you, and the layout works well. You can always think of little improvements if you're being picky 😉, but nothing really bothered us. We had a superb week relaxing, hiking, and sightseeing, with a little pool time too, though the sun hadn't warmed the water yet. A big thank you to Thomas for putting 200% into the residence, and to his smiling, efficient colleague Isabelle, whom we were delighted to meet. Thanks as well to all the teams who make it work, especially after the severe weather damaged the infrastructure. Come and enjoy this lovely place to rest and unwind, overlooking the golf course.
