I only wish I’d visited in spring or summer, since the place must be gorgeous then. The cottage itself was perfect, with great communication from Aurélie, who was remarkably kind. It’s spacious for the number of guests it can take, with comfortable living areas where you don’t feel crowded. Children and toddlers are welcome too.

We had a memorable weekend with friends in a lovely house with fantastic courtyards. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, and there were little notes everywhere. You pay extra for heating oil and for a fire in the fireplace, which didn’t make sense to us. We used wood instead of oil.

Laurence's cottage was just right for a weekend with friends, spacious and clean, with a really cute big garden. Everything was set up with the health measures in place, and we were only 2.5 km from the lake. ''Chez Patrick'' delivered excellent pizzas and pâté en croûte. We rented bikes in Ste Marie from ''Nomad Ride''. Nadine gave us a lovely welcome. A great place to stay.

A lovely place to stay if you enjoy birdwatching and spending time in nature at Lac du Der.
