Hôtel Kyriad Besancon - Ecole Valentin

The terrace was lovely, with comfortable chairs for sitting outside in the evening. We also found the room good, and the bathroom was modern and clean. For one night, the hotel offered great facilities at a good price, and breakfast at €10 per person was good value too. We’d definitely stay again when visiting Besançon.

Greetings to the hotel owner, a very smart and warm woman. I wish her all the best and happiness in life. The room was neat, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was excellent. Highly recommended! Greetings from Murat in Amsterdam.

The beds were okay, but a shower curtain would help keep water from flooding the bathroom. The hotel is very basic and probably fine if you’re just passing through without expecting much. The location isn’t appealing: it’s beside a busy road that stays busy at night, and there’s a self-service car wash next door. People were washing cars at 23.00 and 6.30, which was very loud with the window open. We had to open it because there was no ventilation or air conditioning. Weekend breakfast starts at 8.00, which was impractical for us travelling through and wanting to leave early.

Thanks so much for the hospitality. We had a wonderful weekend!
