The only letdown was the vegetarian food, which was very uninspired, and the drinks were overpriced. The room opened onto generous, lush green gardens, ideal if you have a pet. The Ibis was friendly, well organised, and welcoming, and the location is perfect, close to the village of Egletons.

We needed air conditioning for an overnight stop on the way home to Spain because it was so hot outside. This hotel was a blessing, the AC worked fantastically. We also had dinner in the restaurant, and both the food and service were great. Highly recommend!

We saved the best for last. After a long ride, it was nice to have plenty to do nearby. The town is just over a mile away, with a wide choice of restaurants and bars, and there’s a lake too. Our room was spacious, bright, fresh, and quiet, with superb AC, a very comfortable bed, and tea-making facilities. Breakfast was spot on, and there was covered parking for the motorcycle. We’d stay here again.

We were on the go, but still managed a walk around the lovely lake and through the forest. It’s right nearby. The triple room was a good size, parking was convenient, and getting there was easy. Breakfast was a nice, standard offering. We had a great stay.

A good place to stop overnight, with a clean, simple room and welcoming staff. Breakfast was good, but unfortunately dinner the night before was awful. It was Monday, and the charming-looking restaurants in Egletons were closed.
