A lovely spot for unwinding and exploring the south. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade products. Our room was clean, and the whole house has a Mediterranean feel. It’s on a quiet street near Perpignan, with the beach about a 20-minute bike ride away.

We came across Flore and Manu’s bed and breakfast by chance, and we’re so glad we did. The building is beautiful, and the welcome was warm. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and we really enjoyed the meals at the communal table. Flore’s pastries deserve a special mention. We can’t wait to return, so don’t hesitate to book!

Can Oliba is a charming, unusual place, beautifully decorated, with lovely spacious rooms and plenty of spots to relax. It’s in a quiet, slightly tucked-away village, but still close to tourist attractions, the coast, and the mountains. We stayed four nights at the end of July in the family room overlooking the patio, and the setting was exceptional. Our hosts were welcoming, helpful, available, and discreet. We could use the pool and different relaxation areas whenever we liked. The place was impeccably clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was fresh, generous, and delicious. Flore kindly adapted it to our preference for savory food, bringing cheeses, cold cuts, mixed salad, and other items. She also shared some of her delicate homemade sweets, including jams, tarts, yogurts, and compotes. We warmly recommend this guesthouse. It’s an inviting place to rest.

We loved being based in Elne, with the coast and Albères mountains to explore and the tourist crowds behind us. The building is full of charm, and the welcoming, attentive couple made us feel at home. After our walks, the pool and its bubbling water were a lovely sight each evening. It was a truly restorative week, with relaxation and a change of scenery just as promised. Thanks, Flore and Manu, for having us. We’ll be back, that’s a promise. After a lovely walk, cooling off in the wonderfully refreshing pool was just the thing. Elne is an idyllic, peaceful setting, and the charming house came with such a warm welcome. Huge thanks to Flore and Manu for a fantastic weekend that’s made us want to return. The homemade jam was a real treat!
