Maison au pied de la cathédrale

The Romanesque cloister is one of the neighborhood’s highlights, and there’s plenty more to wander around: narrow streets, restaurants, galleries, antique shops, and the Gallo-Roman villa remains in the Saint Jordi parking lot. Climb the ramparts past the thermal baths for a view of the Pyrenees. The cathedral square has a lovely little café that’s inexpensive, too. My mother lives next door, so I often pass this renovated old house and can see its charm inside. Saint Cyprien beach is only 6 km away, and in winter the ski slopes are about an hour and a half away. Have a wonderful holiday!
