A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Mas Mica" is located in Elne. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Maternite Suisse, Le Tropique du Papillon and University of Perpignan.

I’m still here on a one-week holiday, but I strongly advise against staying in this house. The owner gets €2,000 a week and makes absolutely NO EFFORT for tenants’ comfort. The pool is the only thing I’d hoped to enjoy, but it’s dirty and there’s no way to clean it, so I can’t even swim. There’s no Wi-Fi, no air conditioning, no mosquito nets, no dishes, and no outdoor shower. The TV is tiny, the sofa is torn, and there are no garden lights. There’s no pool cleaner either, so the water is dirty. The house is in the middle of nowhere, and you’ll spend more time cleaning it than enjoying yourself. If you can cancel, do it at all costs. The WORST decision of my life.

We were there for the weekend. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jam. It got a bit hot, but having the pool helped. Bring mosquito repellent. The woman who runs the place speaks a little Spanish, and payment has to be in cash.

DISAPPOINTING and A RIP-OFF We rented the entire Mas for €2000 a week and expected much better. The photos don’t show what it’s really like. It’s in poor shape and clearly hasn’t been maintained for a long time. The appliances are old and work only intermittently, and the dryer is held together with a bungee cord. The place is noisy because it’s right by a busy road. The water comes from a well, and there’s a septic tank that smells unpleasant and draws huge numbers of tiger mosquitoes to feed on it. The pool looks beautiful, but it’s also poorly maintained. The water was saturated, and even after half of it was drained, its quality still wasn’t good. YUCK.

The owner gave us a warm welcome. Our room was clean, and breakfast had a very good selection. A nice spot for a few peaceful nights in the region.

The garden and swimming pool are beautiful, and breakfast was excellent. We got a very warm welcome. The only drawback was that the bathroom and toilet weren’t connected to the room.
