The staff were outstanding, friendly and attentive, and the restaurant meal was delicious with excellent service. The hotel sits in a lovely spot beside the Pont de la Truyère, and the building has been modernised, though it seems the work was done decades ago and it could use a refresh. Our room was dated but clean, comfortable and a decent size, with a couple of small maintenance problems. There are rooms on several floors and a lift. Facilities include a pool, restaurant and bar. Free off-street parking is limited, on a narrow, unmade road beside the river, with steep steps up to the hotel. I'd drop luggage at the ground-level reception first. If you're not too fussy, it's worth staying a couple of nights.

The staff were very helpful, and breakfast could be tailored to our needs, including special gluten-free crepes. The food was extremely good. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and having both a shower and a separate tub was a nice bonus. The one drawback was the heat. There was no AC and the room got very hot, though the fan helped.

The town and surrounding area are beautiful, and the hotel has a superb pool attached. It was tranquil, right in the middle of the Midi Pyrenees. I arrived too late to try the restaurant; breakfast was simple but fine. The rooms and bathrooms were a little dated, though comfortable enough, and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room.
