I’m very disappointed. I’d been planning to rent several properties for my family and some wedding guests, but getting hold of Marine was a struggle. She was supposed to get back to me quickly, yet after many calls, texts, and voicemail messages, I never heard back. This place feels unreliable.

The place feels abandoned, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I booked through Airbnb because it listed a hammam and sauna, but both were locked. There’s no reception area anymore, trash was sitting in every flowerpot, and the grass hadn’t been cut. A rubbish dump right beside our accommodation was the worst part. I also wasn’t sure the pool was being maintained, so I didn’t dare use it. The whole holiday residence felt like a ghost town.

I’ve visited the region several times toward the end of 2025, with family and for work. Since Ms. Marine took over gest-loc.fr, the welcome, paperwork, accessibility, and setting have all been top-notch. It feels like a completely different experience from the previous management.
