The location and setting looked great, and the ratings made the restaurant seem promising. But the service, food, and refusal to accept the most common payment method were all bad, not even acceptable. I ordered a Caesar salad, which should be an easy dish, and got a plate of chopped iceberg lettuce, a few croutons, fried chopped, crumbed chicken, and a tasteless sauce. It cost a steep €18. The people serving, who I assumed were the owners, came across as arrogant and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend or return to this restaurant. With other restaurants in town, there's no need to.

We stopped for lunch while in the area and sat comfortably outside despite the heat. The restaurant is nicely situated, the salmon was great, and the pizzas smelled delicious. There was cold beer on tap, and the service was good. The only slightly odd part was learning just before paying that they only took cash, so we had to make a bank transfer on our phone. For a small village, I thought the prices were a bit high, but acceptable.

The chef is fabulous, with lots of ideas and a range of dishes, all of them amazing. We had an excellent lunch made with fresh food from around the restaurant.

The terrace was pleasant even without a view, and the food and service were good. We didn't try the pizzas, but they smelled great. The music ranged from Guns n' Roses to Dire Straits, with a few odd choices now and then :). Payment is cash only, and there's no ATM in the village. We almost cancelled our reservation because of that.

Patrick and Helene were so helpful and accommodating. We stayed for two nights, and the room was very comfortable and beautifully clean. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.
