Sept 2025 The room was poor, and the website photos and presentation were misleading. Breakfast cost too much for its fairly poor quality. The bar service was appalling: the woman had no idea what a gin and tonic was and served 0.75 of a litre of pink liquid without ice. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the poor blinds and curtains let light through. The hotel felt substandard, hugely overpriced, and overmarketed. The bath was borderline dangerous because there was no anti-slip mat where you get out, and there was bad water damage above it. Noise came from above and all sides, with doors slamming at all hours, especially around 7.00 in the morning. I slept terribly. I'm very disappointed, will never stay again, and don't recommend it. +

Everything was thought of, and the breakfasts were lovely. The team were friendly, professional, and helpful. The location is perfect, with an easy walk to everything.

The staff were welcoming, and it's easy to walk anywhere from this spot on the edge of town. There's car parking nearby. Rooms are clean, with good towels and linen, though the decor is older and they're about what you'd expect for a three-star place. In Epernay, the other options are B&Bs or expensive hotels outside the centre.

A fabulous property with a perfect location, an easy walk to everything. The team were professional, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was lovely with everything thought of.

The location was good, but the smell of feces was overwhelming. When I checked in, I figured the housekeeper might have used the bathroom while cleaning, so I brushed it off and went out for the day. More than 10 hours later, the smell was still overpowering, coming from the shower area, which looked a bit like a mobile home shower. The pipes seemed badly clogged and backed up. I couldn't stand to shower in the room, and the towels hanging there had already been used and hadn't been changed. Overall, a horrible stay.
