Hôtel de la seine

The bed was really comfortable, everything was clean, and the hotel has a very modern design. The train station is fairly close, with a direct service to central Paris. We stayed two nights, and it was okay, though nothing about it felt special. The main problem was the bathroom. When we showered, water spread everywhere, even into the room's hallway, though I don't know exactly why. We also had a few communication difficulties in English, but managed the most important things. I was surprised at checkout to learn breakfast wasn't included in the price. It was served in the room and was fine, nothing special.

The room was small but comfortable, and the little balcony was nice. The shower worked well. Breakfast at 8 euros per person wasn't worth the price. The kettle, lamp, and USB chargers were broken.

The view is the best thing here. Staff were helpful, and thankfully the AC worked during the hot weather. Inside, though, everything looks modern but feels cheap. There was no boiler or fridge in the room, and it costs too much for what you get.

The restaurant has a beautiful setting, but the food was awful. Breakfast cost € 8 for a dried-out croissant. The manager and Jack said the AC didn't work, despite the control being on the wall. The safe was wide open and couldn't be closed, and the manager spoke basic French and Chinese while the rest spoke Chinese. I've never stayed in a more uncomfortable hotel in the Paris region. The mattress was so old I could feel the wires all night, and the pillows seemed as cheap as possible. Think twice before staying here.
