The cool river Yonne and the neatly kept paths, with flowers along the way, made it easy to slow down and enjoy the place. I felt safe here travelling alone, and it would suit couples or families who like peace and nature just as well. The owners were warm, charming, and happy to help. The facilities were spotless, and the shower was hot and powerful. There’s a library and a comfortable lounge with sofas, too. I was camping solo while travelling across Europe, and this was a lovely spot to pause. You can stay in a tent, camper, hotel, or cabin. Nature lovers, walkers, boaters, bird watchers, and horse riders will find plenty to enjoy. There’s good food, fresh bread can be delivered if you pre-order, and their signature Negroni is made with carefully sourced ingredients. Take a short drive to the canal and its 16 locks, and you might come across the magical expo love cafe, where coffee is one euro. Keep an eye out for rare, tropical-looking birds. This isn’t a place to rush through, just somewhere to enjoy nature, good company, and a chance to reset.

A friendly welcome, simple food that hit the spot, and the Yonne River to cool your feet. I stopped here on a bike tour and found a charming little chalet, a real pocket of peace and quiet.

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and Sonja and Bernhard gave us such a warm welcome. You can tell they run the place with real passion. The property is beautiful, with cozy chalets and peaceful surroundings. We especially enjoyed the relaxing spots along the Yonne River. Highly recommended, and we’d love to return!

We meant to stay for a week, but ended up spending 17 nights here because we enjoyed it so much. Sonja and Bernhard really try to make guests feel at home, and they helped us out with a leaky air mattress, an empty gas tank, and a nasty wasp sting. Everything worked out fine, and we look back on the stay with a lot of pleasure. It’s a lovely, quiet campsite in a beautiful area. During the hot weather, it was really nice to cool off in or beside the river, or in the indoor area. The cold beers came in handy too.
