The hotel is comfortable and modern, right in the centre of Bagnoles de L'Orne. My room had a balcony with lovely lake views, and the spa has an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Unfortunately, there was an event one night with very loud music and dreadful karaoke that carried on past midnight.

The lakefront position is great, and the decor is a bit tired but clean. Dinner service was good, though the food itself was mediocre, and breakfast wasn't great either. My linguine was half cold.

The hotel is in a fine spot, and we enjoyed using the pool. Reception was very good and our room was fine. But we had to use our bedroom towels at the pool, and the pool showers were cold in the morning. The jacuzzi was cold too. We thought a 9am opening was late, yet the doors were still locked at 10 past 9. There was no information in the room about facilities, like wifi, spa hours, or the restaurant menu.

The location is good, and the room with a lake view was nice. The terrace, though, had old cigarette ends on the floor and looked like it hadn't been swept in a long time. The deck chairs were old but comfortable. The spa hotel also has a constant, overwhelming smell of chlorine. Reception service was excellent, but the restaurant team, though nice, need more training. There was no proper welcome and we were served as if it were some cheap eatery. They smiled when they didn't understand you in English. I'd expect tourists to be part of the deal at a hotel.

Our party of 14 had brilliant service, and we ate at the hotel most evenings. The chef did an excellent job with a menu to suit all tastes, and one of our party who was Celiac was well looked after. The location couldn't be improved, and the small spa was relaxing, with the Hannam, sauna, and indoor pool.
