The moules and salmon were standouts, though the melon and steak were excellent too. Between the four of us, we tried every starter and main on the “Formule du midi,” and the set lunch was amazingly good. We stopped at Ernree for the Tuesday market while holidaying nearby in a gite, and, after reading the positive reviews, decided to try the traditional French lunch at Logis Hotel du Grand Cerf. The waiter/manager was very friendly, and the service and food were great from the moment we arrived until we left. We shared a couple of bottles of Rose and went away very happy. Dogs are welcome here too.

The food was delicious, and the three-course lunch was excellent quality for 26 euros. We were served promptly by a cheerful, welcoming waiter. The restaurant felt a little up-market, but we were comfortable there. There’s a large car park beside it, and the toilets were spotless.

The restaurant was excellent, and there was plenty of parking. Our room was clean, with a modern, recently motivated bathroom. The staff were friendly and tried to make the stay comfortable. There’s also a very friendly dog who enjoys being petted. We had a very nice stay and would recommend it 👍

They sorted out a slight misunderstanding when we arrived straight away, without any discussion, even though it wasn’t anyone’s fault. We were really impressed by the customer care and appreciated how quickly it was resolved. The cuisine was excellent, and this hotel and restaurant deserve all the excellent accolades. I’d give six stars if I could.

The restaurant is excellent, noted as a Gault & Millau “table gourmande.” The owner and staff were both very friendly and professional. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with a large bed and a renovated bathroom. There’s a large parking lot too. I’d be happy to visit again.
