Breakfast was the best part of our stay: generous, varied, delicious, and with several homemade items. It showed how good the place can be when details get attention. The rest was a mixed experience. At dinner, the gazpacho and turbot we ordered on the chef’s recommendation were tasty, well prepared, and made with fresh ingredients. The cooking was simple but thoughtful, with local flavors. But waiting an hour and forty minutes for a starter and main was excessive, even in high season. Maybe there were too many tables or the tourist rush had staff under pressure, but service felt slow and not very attentive. The welcome was polite, not warm, and we skipped dessert rather than risk another long wait. The €146 bill for two, including just a pichet of wine and those two dishes, felt far too high, especially after the delay. Our hotel room was noisy, and those huge square pillows were among the most uncomfortable we've ever had. The bathroom also had maintenance problems: the shower over the bathtub had a glass screen with no seal, so water flooded the floor, and the only light was a dim one above the mirror. Small things, but together they made the stay less pleasant than expected. La Table de Jeanne serves good food and a very good breakfast, but both the hotel and restaurant have issues with upkeep and organization. Better timing, hospitality, and maintenance would help it meet its potential. As it is, it falls short.

The hotel is fairly good value, and our room was comfortable and medium-sized. We booked a sea view, and what a view! Breakfast, though, was very average in quality and overpriced at €18.

The food looked promising, and I would have liked to try it. We came for lunch and ordered oysters, telling the waitress clearly that we wanted to order food shortly. She said OK and left us the menu. Twenty minutes later, when we tried to order, the kitchen had suddenly closed. Saying “sorry” ten times and blaming the kitchen doesn't help. What a bunch of Clowns 🤡!

The rooms are modern, clean, quite spacious, and have a perfect view. We enjoyed our short stay, and the promenade is great for a walk or run while taking in the sea. For a brief visit, it's a good hotel. I’d call it three stars rather than two. The price feels high for the area, though there aren't many hotels around. In high season, maybe €100 would be fair instead of €120.
