I've eaten dinner here before and came back for lunch today, and both times it was excellent. The staff are friendly, it's a family-friendly place, and they pay attention to children. I had the “perfect egg” and the slow-cooked pork roast, échine. Their homemade sangria is lovely, as is the local red wine. Prices are moderate for the quality. Definitely give it a try if you're in Espelette.

We couldn't sleep because there was a festival and the music carried on until 4.00, so we had to keep the windows open. The hotel rooms unfortunately have no AC. We were also puzzled by the restaurant's high rating, since the food seemed very basic.

The service was superb, and we'd gladly come back. It's a very nice hotel in a beautiful setting, with a spacious room and all the amenities you need.

A great place with an excellent restaurant. The meal and wine suggestions were very good, and service was professional, quick and friendly. Strongly recommend it.

The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Restaurant service and food were great, and breakfast had a good spread, including local honey and jam and fresh orange juice.
