That torchlit walk through the woods at midnight was such a highlight. We also loved the horse-drawn cart ride through Vichy, with mulled wine and warm blankets along the way. Between relaxing by the indoor log fires and the outdoor fire pits, it was a fantastic place to spend New Year. Superb food and wonderful hosts at Aux Jardins des Thévenets. We’ll be back.

The owners’ taste really comes through in the refined decor, and the hosts are so welcoming and charming. It’s an authentic place in beautiful natural surroundings, the kind of stop that stays with you and leaves you with lovely memories.
