The village was a lovely surprise, with excellent crepes and pizza for dinner, plus a big park north of town with a basketball court and skate park that suits all ages. At the château, we especially liked the pool, breakfast, grounds, and original touches like the four-poster beds and spiral wooden stairs. The owner is clearly passionate about the place and was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The interiors may not match what you picture in a château, but they give the stay its own character.

We stayed three days and were sorry to leave. The family suite was really cool, with a jacuzzi bath, and there was a pool on site. The house and grounds are stunning, the host was polite and very nice, and breakfast was excellent. A wonderful base for a Loire stay. Thank you, we'd happily recommend it.

A handy spot for a quick morning visit to Chenonceaux, and a lovely overnight stop on the way from the Alps to Caen. We slept soundly, then had an excellent breakfast. The house and gardens are beautiful, the welcome was warm, and after the long drive we made good use of the pool. Dinner was crepes at the local cafe. Highly recommended.

We had a comfortable room and plenty of choice at breakfast. The owner was very friendly. Sadly the weather kept us from making the most of the gardens and forest walks, but I’d recommend the château.
