The river views out front are lovely, and the castle looks magnificent lit up at night. We arrived mid-afternoon, dropped off our bags and wandered around town, finding some lovely places to eat. There are also great local bakeries and a grocery store nearby. The location makes it easy to get into town, and parking close by is very convenient. The apartment is well finished and has all the appliances you need, making it excellent value. The balcony is great and would be ideal for a larger group. There is some local traffic noise, but it’s a minor disturbance. We highly recommend it and are planning to stay here next year as part of our Loire Valley holiday.
